Benefits of the Room Visualiser System
There are two types of Visualisation Systems available on the market.
The first is a passive visualisation system which may produce high-quality rendered images,
but since they are static visuals, the file size as well as the amount
of images required is relatively large.
Colour visualiser systems only allows changes made to the wall colour via colour masks which are applied to the
walls in the room image – this is very limiting, since one cannot view
the wall colour with different floor stylings.
The second is a 3D variety of Visualisation
Systems. It uses texture-mapping for the floors and furniture and tends
to render out low-quality images which look undesirably similar to PC
game graphics.
In contrast to the above, the Sound Idea Room Visualiser System offers the following benefits:
Rendering of high-quality images
The Room Visualiser efficiently renders high-quality images in no time
at all, and previous renders are cached to ensure practically instant
loading of the final rendered image in-store.

Pre-defined floor and wall combinations
The system also allows for the uploading of floor tiles, patterned
floor tiles, wall-to-wall carpeting options, wall tiles, and wall
colours.
Associated flooring and wall colours allow the administrator to group tiles and
wall colours together, to ensure that no matter what combination is
selected by the user, the result will be an aesthetically-pleasing one.
Easy-to-use
A non-technical person can easily add new tiles to the database, via
the user-friendly interface, by simply uploading a flat image of the
tile. Patterned floors may also be designed on a PC and similarly
uploaded. Wall colours can be added by simply adding the hexadecimal
value of the desired shade to the database.
Allows for Partnerships in the Interior Decorating Field
The Room Visualiser is ideal for companies that sell wall and floor solutions, but also allows for partnerships in the field, since a floor company may recruit the services of a paint company (or vice-versa) to use their complementing products in the system.
Integration into Digital Signage
The Room Visualiser may also be combined with Sound Idea Productions’ DDS - an affordable Dynamic Digital Signage System and solution, for managing advertising material and other media for in-store advertising on plasma screens, LCD screens or television monitors.
The combination of these two systems will allow the desired advertising to loop until a customer touches the screen to activate the Visualisation System. To view more information on Sound Idea Productions’ DDS, please go to www.soundideadigitalsignage.co.za
